OSHER CENTER FOR INTEGRATIVE HEALTH HELPS ELEVATE BEARCATS’ QUALITY OF LIFE
|
As UC alumni, you’re familiar with many UC initiatives that enhance the lives of those in our community. However, one under-the-radar resource deserves special attention for its potential to make a lasting impact on your well-being — whether you’re managing a busy lifestyle, navigating stress, or looking to improve your overall health.
The Osher Center for Integrative Health is a unique and transformative service that combines conventional medicine with complementary therapies aimed at enhancing wellness in all aspects of life. By focusing on stress reduction, nutrition, movement, sleep, and environmental factors, the Osher Center takes a whole-person approach to health that benefits people of all ages. With a team of over 30 core faculty members across various disciplines, as well as partnerships with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and the VA Medical Center, the Osher Center offers a wide range of programs designed to support both physical and mental well-being. Services include everything from culinary medicine and health coaching to acupuncture, massage therapy, music therapy, and mindfulness techniques.
The Osher Center is more than just a place for treatment; it’s a holistic hub where research, clinical practice, and education converge to promote lasting health. Numerous inspiring stories reflect how patients have successfully integrated conventional treatments with the Center’s offerings to significantly improve their quality of life. We invite you to explore the full range of services available at the Osher Center, which is dedicated to the health and wellness of our entire community — alumni included. Whether you’re looking for resources to manage stress or deepen your understanding of integrative health, there’s something for everyone. Online you can view a calendar of upcoming events or explore past events and videos.
|
At UC, our commitment to your well-being continues long after graduation. The Osher Center is just one of many ways we remain a resource to you, and we hope you take advantage of all it has to offer.
